The Cubs are reeling, coming off a 2-5 home stand and a series loss to the Cardinals, the Cubs visit the Circus down in Miami to start the week.  I’m sure there will be a line outside the home clubhouse consisting of Cubs players to say hello to their former teammate Carlos Zambrano….. oh right, probably not.  This series marks the first time that Cubs will face off against the disgruntled right hander was traded away in the off-season.  Unfortunately for all parties involved, Carlos is not scheduled to start at all in the series.  The other side-show that is taking place is the Ozzie Guillen loving Fidel Castro saga.  Ozzie is expected to return from his own team’s imposed suspension during the series which I’m sure won’t generate any media attention.  Here’s hoping the Cubs can keep their focus on the field where it belongs and can come away with their first series win of 2012.
