Tennessee Smokies Stats and Standings (as of 5/7/12)

Another tough week for the Smokies, but they got some help on Sunday.  Junior Lake was added to the roster now that he is fully healthy, he should start helping the Smokies offense immediately.  However, with one addition there was a subtraction as Jonathan Mota, arguably the best hitter to date for the Smokies was promoted to AAA.

Daytona Cubs Stats and Standings (as of 5/7/12)

The D-Cubs have struggled, but might be showing some signs of life coming out of this weekend as they have won their last two games.  If you need concrete evidence of their offensive struggles take a look at Austin Kirk’s numbers, he’s suffering from Ryan Dempster-itis.

Peoria Chiefs Stats and Standings (as of 5/7/12)

The Chiefs are struggling, and this weekend did nothing to help that as they gave up a lot of runs, I refuse to add it up, but it was a lot.  Here’s to a better week ahead, go Chiefs!

Chicago Cubs Stats and Standings (as of 4/30/12)

Don’t look now but the Cubs are starting to play better baseball and it’s starting to show in the standings as the Cubs are no longer alone in last place and now trail the first place Cardinals by six games.  The Cubs have gone 5-3 in their last eight games and could be considered on a significant roll if they can take 3 out of 4 from the Phillies tonight.  Full standings and stats after the jump.

Iowa Cubs Stats and Standings (as of 4/30/12)

The Iowa Cubs sit in second place in the American Northern Division but they are still chasing the Oklahoma Storm Chasers by quite a bit, 7 games to be exact.  After a solid start to the season Iowa has gone 2-8 in their last 10, time to pick it up.  Full standings and stats after the jump.
